My journey post the academy has been amazing. Because you get to study with so many other students, you leave with a great network and support system which immediately brings in work. I had great opportunities and still continue to because of everyone who is part of the Namfam and that also extends to alumni from her other batches. The confidence I have to work In any area whether it be film, celebrity, editorial or bridal, the foundation of that confidence and skill has been the Namrata Soni academy. My heart felt gratitude for everything eternally. 

My learning experience with Nam ma'am has been truly amazing. She is one of the best in the industry who can teach from the very basics to the advanced techniques one must know to upskill yourself in this industry. Every day in our class all my doubts were cleared and every student gets her personal attention which is the best. Learning beauty, editorial and bridal makeup was a wonderful experience throughout. Her team has always been very supportive to get the best from us. I was one of them who was completely new and had no idea about makeup and how to use different brushes. Today I feel confident and I am sure I do a pretty good job. All the credit goes to my best teacher Namrata Soni!

The best learning experience I can think of that is difficult to be described in words. It was an intense learning experience for me. She was all the time present there focusing on every minute detail possible and correcting us on every mistake. From sharpness of the liner to blending of the eyeshadow, from beautiful skin work to experimental fashion looks, we learned everything. Not just makeup how clean and organized our kit should be to preparing mou for every client it was all taught.  I still use her technique of fixing dupatta and mang tika on the bride's head. With the techniques, I learned I can give all kinds of discolorations without using a ton of product but by just using the right color. Not just makeup techniques there was a complete mentoring given on how we should design our looks and implement them. 

Being from Delhi I really wanted to learn how the beauty industry works in Mumbai, and who best to learn from other than “Namrata Soni”. I have always loved her style of makeup, as natural as one can be yet making her clients feel and look at their best. When her academy was announced I was super thrilled.  I was part of her first batch & I have to say, joining her academy has changed my life! Everything I follow today, I learned from. I never go wrong with her technique. She is a master of skin work and doesn’t hold back when she is teaching. I have had the opportunity to assist her (super grateful) and I can vouch for the fact that what you learn from her is exactly how she does makeup on her clients /actors. 
One of the best decisions I made was to learn from Namrata Soni, She really is an amazing teacher, always making sure her students get the best of everything. I’m  so proud to be her student! 

It has been amazing. I am grateful to ma'am, my fellow friend Vatsala Bhagat and my mentor Kritika Gill for having faith in me. I have worked on many fashion shows (grateful to Namrata Ma'am for this), editorial shoots, and designer look books. The turning point of my career was when I got to be a part of the 'A Suitable Boy' team. I just didn't learn about movies but it was one of the greatest experiences so far in being a part of a huge scale project like this. I am grateful that my hard work leads to another and now I am doing personal makeup and hair for the lead actor in my current web series. However, I still believe that there is more to experience in life and more to work. I hope to continue this journey by seeing every project differently with an aspiration to do better than before  

Namrata Soni, gave me the skills I needed to be confident working as a makeup artist, and that’s what you can expect from any school, but what makes her stand out is the fact that she's an amazing teacher and she really prepared us in every aspect for our career and life as an MUA.

At the end of our course, we already had a strong portfolio of works to show potential clients. She also provided us with working experiences as makeup assistants on real jobs which both strengthens the skills we’ve learned and also gives us the opportunity to network with industry professionals such as clients, photographers, and models.

Attending the academy was one thing that I was always sure about! Working and getting trained by Namrata Soni was definitely a dream come true. Every session helped me pave my path and added tremendously to my skill set. 

It’s been two years since I graduated and I am so grateful to say that I have not stopped working since then.

The Namrata Soni academy has allowed me to pursue my dreams that seemed unachievable a few years ago 

I am a lawyer by profession but my love for makeup superseded everything which led me to Namrata Soni. Joining her school, learning from her, meeting other students, practicing day in day out, specializations tutored by leading names in the industry were a few of the highlights of my amazing association with the Namrata Soni’s School of Makeup. Her knowledge of makeup and makeup products really helps one understand more about their application.
She not only helped us learn the most basic tips and tricks but also taught highly complicated looks. Besides being one of the best Make-up artists she also is a great teacher, Love you Nam!

Studying under Namrata Soni at her academy was the greatest learning experience I’ve had! Namrata was there every step of the way and saw the potential in all her students! I’m forever indebted to her and all that she taught me! Since leaving the academy Namrata has given me the opportunity to assist her on shoots, fashion shows & Lakmé fashion week! Had I not joined the academy I wouldn’t have been able to be a part of these incredible learning experiences!   

Having been a fan of Namrata Soni’s work, when I got to know that she was personally teaching at her academy, I jumped right in and enrolled myself for the course and it was the best decision of my life. Namrata was always there personally teaching us, explaining everything steps by step, and correcting our mistakes with the right techniques. There was never a moment where I felt left out or confused. Throughout the course, she was extremely approachable always ready to answer even the silliest doubts. I still remember the time where she actually held my hand and thought me how to blend with the sponge. Right from teaching me how to hold a brush to advanced techniques of Airbrush, by the end of the course, I can safely say that I had become a confident makeup artist. I believe the course is a good fit for everyone from a complete fresher to a professional makeup artist seeking to sharpen one’s skills.

I'm so proud to be from the pilot batch of Namrata Soni school of hair and make up. There was no turning back after I graduated. Yes the credit does go to the hair and make-up skills I learnt there but I also owe a big deal to the nuances that Nam shared with us from the industry. The work ethic and so many other things that added to the skill I acquired from the school.

I still remember the way she held my hand and taught me how to use a beauty blender and not just mine but for each and every student in the batch. 

Meant a huge deal to me. I enjoy making people look the best version of themselves and less is more is my mantra I took from Nam. Thanx a lot Nam...you must know that you have touched many lives and changes them..

I consider myself to be privileged to have spent a month under the capable mentorship of Nam ma’am and it is safe to say that it has been unlike any other. She has a very unique style of teaching and makes it a point to pay meticulous attention to the work done by each and every student. 
I find the course to be well rounded and have managed to pick up on a lot in terms of work ethic, photoshoots, and makeup application techniques. 
Nam Ma’am also took a personal interest in guiding me into curating looks for my fashion portfolio. She also took the liberty of teaching us techniques to add to our skill set further sparking our creativity. 
She is by far one of the finest pedagogues I’ve come across so far and I can vouch for the fact that she has the ability to bring forth the best in all of us. I have always looked up to her and I always will. 

"NAM is amazing! I did a 40 days course with Namrata ma'am post quitting my cabin crew job in 2019.

Hi I am a pass out of the batch September 2020. My experience with Nam ma’am during the academy was absolutely beautiful. So, in the 4 weeks of course she taught us all the possible techniques of makeup, with a lot of tricks that she follows. She was always available during the class and would come to our stations, to teach us if we were not able to get the technique right. In fact, our mentors Tanvi and Shefali would stay back after the class when we needed to practice more on certain techniques or looks. 

During the class, I would ask Nam ma’am 100‘s questions and she would always very sweetly answer all my queries and would help me with them. She always individually came to our stations and clear all our doubts and would guide us if we’ve gone wrong. She would tell us our strong points and will always guide us on how to work on our weak points in makeup. She’s the best teacher one can have. Even after the course got over, she is always available on WhatsApp to clear all our doubts and to guide us with our work. 

I till today send Nam ma’am my work pictures to get her validation and she’s my favorite critic, who’ll not just tell me mistakes in my work but will also guide me how to correct or work better on it. Even now after the course, I ask all my queries to her and she will always help me with them. 
She inspires and motivates me so much to achieve in life, not just professionally but as a person too. The way she manages work and her personal life are commendable. 

I am glad and honored that I have a teacher like Nam ma’am in my life who’ll always guide me for my good. I respect and love her so much. 

Having looked up to Namrata as a pioneer in the make-up industry, I was extremely satisfied with the course as it gave me the skills and confidence to switch from a corporate job and pursue a career as a makeup artist. The best aspect of the school is the hands-on mentorship provided by Namrata which offers a detailed understanding of the latest techniques across fashion, editorial, film & bridal.

The course is structured in a way that students already end up with a portfolio that includes work on real projects with established artists.

After the those gruelling weeks of learning and practicing in the academy and that sprinkle of magic, I started my brand Girl in the Mirror - Makeup & Hair by Richa Chugh. I've had the opportunity to work with and assist some of the most fabulous artists in the industry. Apart from having some really special personal clientele, I’ve worked on an array of projects ranging from brand shoots, television commercials, a few movie projects and a web series.
